SeedRouter is a hosted API for makers who mix model types in one product.
The usual setup for an AI side project: an OpenAI key for chat, another vendor for images, a third for video, three dashboards and three bills. SeedRouter (https://seedrouter.ai) replaces that with one key and one US-dollar balance.
What's live:
- Chat and code: GPT-6 and Claude, through an endpoint the OpenAI SDK already understands.
- Images: Nano Banana and GPT Image, from prompts or with reference images for edits.
- Video: Seedance, from a prompt or a first frame.
Images and videos run as background tasks; you get a task id and either poll or listen for a webhook.
Paying for it: no plan. Top up from $20 by card, the balance has no expiry date, and each delivered request costs the model's listed price. Failed requests are free. Every call shows up in the dashboard with its cost.
